Principal Software Engineer – FinTech

The Role:

We are working with a financial technology company that offers an app-based service designed to help people save and manage their money more effectively. The app allows users to set personalized savings goals, track their spending, and make automatic transfers into their savings account. They are looking for a Lead Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the engineering team, providing guidance and mentorship to team members
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and develop project plans
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to integrate mobile applications with back-end systems and APIs
• Conduct code reviews and ensure that code meets coding standards and is of high quality
• Stay up-to-date with the latest mobile development trends and technologies and incorporate them into our development process
• Identify and troubleshoot bugs and performance issues, and implement solutions to address them

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Strong understanding of Domain Driven Design
• Strong knowledge of design principles, user interface, and user experience design
• Experience working with APIs and integrating mobile applications with back-end systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
