We’re hiring for a highly specialised Mobile QA Automation expert to lead a technical reset within an established, complex, and highly recognisable business.
This is not a mobile-first product—but mobile is an increasingly strategic part of the platform. The automation stack hasn’t kept pace. It’s brittle, often unreliable, and lacks clear ownership. That’s about to change.
The Challenge
- Test automation is often bypassed—tests are flakey, results unclear
- Manual fallback is common; confidence in automation is low
- There’s strong appetite to mature QA, but it needs the right technical lead
Your Mission
- Audit the current mobile automation setup
- Fix or rebuild what’s needed; establish clear technical direction
- Standardise mobile automation practices across squads
- Lead QA excellence across 6 automation engineers and a broader team of manual testers
- Work closely with 20–30 mobile-focused engineers in a highly collaborative, matrixed environment
What You Bring
- Deep, proven expertise in mobile test automation (tools, frameworks, and debugging)
- Strong ability to work autonomously and set high technical standards
- Experience in large, complex tech environments with distributed teams
- Excellent communication skills; fluent in English with experience in English-speaking settings
- Comfortable influencing cross-functionally and building trust through delivery
Contract Details
- 12-month rolling day rate (option to convert to permanent)
- Fully remote (aligned to Irish business hours)
